GOAL OF THE ORGANIZATION

Working to empower disadvantaged children, poor youth, the disabled and women as well as to realize their rights, poverty alleviation and livelihood through various sustainable development programs based on need.

PHILOSOPHY

GRASSROOT CO-OPERATION believes that human force is the centre of all development Endeavour’s Hence it prioritizes on need-based program and human resource development for leading the programme to wards sustainability. Accordingly the development philosophy of Grassroot Co-operation is based on the conviction that the paramount need of the people is not relief but releasing latent potentialities for personal, social and economic growth and development. It is due to fact that GRASSROOT CO-OPERATION believes that man is the architect of his own fortune by exploiting his own latent potentialities.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZATION

  • To use of GRASSROOT COOPERATION teachings in their lives (send children to school, immunize children and pregnant mothers)

  • To improve living conditions (cleanliness, use of tabe-well and sanitary latrine, better housing)
  • To collective action carried out by V.O members on their own accord (resisting unfair divorce and polygamy, realizing dowry money in case of divorce)
  • To increase the literacy rate through providing literacy and functional education to the illiterate target people.
  • To make safety communication and sustainable environment.
  • To provide relief and rehabilitation supports to the attacked people during natural calamities.
  • To improve family planning services delivery, increased practice and a protocol on the quality of care developed and tested.
  • To develop forestry for food, fuel and timber and to ensure ecological balance.
